#TuesdayTip: Using a Cell Phone as a Baby Monitor

This week’s #TuesdayTip is for those of you in need of a baby monitor. I wish I had the option of using a cell phone as a baby monitor when my kids were babies. How ingenious AND affordable!

I first heard about the Cloud Baby¬†Monitor app last week from local blogger, Debbie, at Mom Simplified. She only spent $3.99 for the app and used two phones as the monitors- her old iPhone 4S is the monitor in her baby’s room and her current phone serves as her monitor to watch baby. You can use your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac, and Apple Watch.

My favorite features include the ability to talk to your baby and noise/motion alerts. Others include: battery alert, signal quality indicator, play lullabies or white noises, and a night light with brightness control. I mean, damn. Baby voyeurism can’t¬†get better than this.

Thank you, Mom Simplified, for letting me include you in my #TuesdayTip! And if any of you have other great monitors, I’d love to know about them :)
