*$100 Visa gift card contest rules and details below
If your kids are like mine, they go through messy stages throughout their lives. Who am I kidding, they are messy every single day! And even as an adult, I still manage to miss my mouth with an oversized coffee mug.
Well thankfully mommy has some magical friends who come to the rescue and provide a little peace of mind when I feel like my house is falling apart. I reach for these cleaning products multiple times a day, but with little kiddos running around I make sure to keep them locked up in a place inaccessible to them.
Aside from just keeping cleaning products in a secure area, there are a number of other things to remember when dealing with cleaning products. That’s why The American Cleaning Institute created some great reminders for parents to ensure our kids stay safe while staying clean.
Because guess what? It would really stink if baby decides to wear his food in addition to eating it…
…Or if little princess decides to exfoliate and moisturize with her own mud mask…
…Or if Junior gets REALLY excited on the soccer field…
…Or if Sally Sue decides to spray your perfect sitter in the face with your window cleaner (bye bye perfect sitter!).
Or, on a more serious note, your baby tries to taste your cleaners (there are two million accidental poisonings each year).
So be sure to pay attention to the graphic above, from the American Cleaning Institute, that includes the number to Poison Control. You can print it out and post it on the fridge.
