Not So Alone

Ariel Event
Kendra Scott- Mosaic District

Well, it’s done. My first event came and went, and I can say that with a smile. Thank you so much to my friends who came out to support me. I feel very grateful for having you all in my life!! Finding good, loyal friends isn’t easy, but I lucked out.

Hopefully The Women’s Center received a fat check because most people walked out with some bling. Thanks for spending, ladies! Your hard-earned cash is going to a good place :)

Before I end this post, I want to say that this event reminded me of all the love I have in my life, and that I’m not alone when I write these posts. Sitting behind this screen every week can be tricky. I don’t know who is reading, nor do I get to see your reactions. But with this event, people were sharing, RSVP’ing, and showing up. I didn’t have huge crowds, but I did have people who care about me and what I do. I guess I’m not alone after all. So if you heard me say, “Being there for me means more to me than you know,” now you understand why.

  1. So wait do you have a store in the Mosaic District or what event was this for? Glad it was a success!!! Sucks I couldn’t go but I didn’t know because I’m out of it lol. Take Care Danielle! -Iva

    1. Hi Iva! Always good to hear from you. No, I don’t have a store at Mosaic. It was a relaunch event because I changed my blog’s name from tiny-trots to typed. I hope I get to meet you in person some time!

      1. Hi Danielle,

I had the same thought actually, that you owned a store in the Mosaic District. It’s good to know that you have people who care about you and support every step you make. I’m glad I’m here today, your site is wonderful along with your work!
