The Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Godzilla-sized rabbit) will be breaking into our homes soon. Despite this horrifying fictitious creature, I love Easter! It’s the time of year when nature reawakens and we leave hibernation to connect with family and friends. As parents, the thought of hosting can be daunting. But I have a hosting tip for you; including an exclusive, limited-time offer from HoneyBaked Ham Company.
As you may know, I have two little kids (ages four and three). I don’t have the time, energy, or desire to whip up a time-consuming meal. For that reason my tip includes marrying a husband who can do all of this for you. Just kidding. Not really. Seriously though, I recommend what works for me- doing what you are good at and outsourcing the rest. As a result, you look good and your guests leave happy. When it comes to Easter, the star of the show is the ham. I have yet to try making a homemade honey glazed ham because, as my mom used to say, “Why make it when you can buy it tasting better?”
This year, Husband and I are hosting and continuing my family’s tradition of buying our meat, buns, and condiments from HoneyBaked. They offer premium products that are convenient and simple-to-serve (there’s a reason they’ve been around since 1957). I don’t like to mess with success, and we have always loved how flavorful, juicy, and delicious their food tastes!
With all this being said, Husband and I made life a lot easier by just preparing the side dishes and purchasing the ham, turkey, Hawaiian buns, honey-mustard condiment, and dessert. We cooked mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, and green beans. With the extra time I had, I made a beautiful table arrangement. All I did was use decorations from around the house and buy beautiful, fresh flowers.

All we had to do was pop the ham and turkey in the oven and serve them on pretty platters. I love simplicity.

As for dessert…we bought the Cheesecake Sampler that offers a variety of flavors. My kids didn’t know what to do with themselves. Keep in mind that HoneyBaked’s side dishes and desserts vary by location.
This Easter meal was a complete success! Just ask our our guests (who had seconds and thirds).
